Meet Christopher J. French, DDS
Dr. Chris French was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana. As a young boy, he moved to Federal Way, WA, where he grew up enjoying cycling, camping and snowboarding.

Dr. French attended Seattle University and earned a BS in Chemistry, graduating with honors. He then moved to Omaha, NE, and finished dental school at Creighton University, graduating in 2003. Following dental school, Dr. French completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, and an internship at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. French completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Minnesota.
Following his residency, he practiced as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the Twin Cities area for eight years and has been the Chief of the Oral Surgery Department at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center since 2018. He practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a special interest in dental restoration with dental implants, correction of developmental deformities, care of pediatric patients and patients with special needs.
Dr. French is an active member of many associations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Minnesota Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the St. Paul District Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. French lives in Inver Grove Heights with his wife, Kathy, and their 3 sons. He enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling and bow hunting.
