Dr. P. Angie Rake, DDS
Dr. Rake received her DDS degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1997. She then completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She is a graduate of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training program at the University of Minnesota.
In 2002, Dr. Rake joined Dakota Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She remains active in academics as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, division of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Rake is a diplomate with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association and Minneapolis District Dental Society. She is past President of the Minnesota Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Currently, she serves as a member of the Clinical Governance Board with US Oral Surgery Management, a NIH-NIDAMED Contracted Panelist and an appointed member and President of the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.
Dr. Rake currently lectures on numerous topics locally and nationally. She has gained national attention for her advocacy on responsible opioid prescribing.
She lives in the south metro area with her husband, oral surgeon, Dr. Scott Rake, and daughter.
